Dreaming Of Myrtle Beach {With RedWeek}

Years ago my best friend and I happened upon a gem of a movie called Shag {any UK readers out there are probably snickering or gasping silently at the title lol}. The movie takes place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where the main characters take a girls trip to have one last *hurrah* before one of them gets married. We were  young teenagers, always looking for the strangest, never heard of before movies {Strictly Ballroom anyone??…random fact – the director of Strictly Ballroom Baz Luhrmann, also directed Moulin Rouge!} – and we LOVED this one.

And ever since, I’ve dreamed of visiting Myrtle Beach – the movie made it look like SO much fun! Lucky for me, my husband also has some friends who live there {South Carolina} that we would like to visit. So today I took a few minutes on my new favorite vacay site, Redweek, to check out what they had to offer for Myrtle beach vacation homes. And now, I am dreaming of a *hopeful* family vacay there – maybe next spring {though we’ll be driving because flights are close to $1,000 PER PERSON!!!} 🙂
