It’s Gotta Be Beardowear {Review}

I watch Dragon’s Den religiously – I love seeing the ideas and see the passion and dedication some of these entrepeneurs have. And I particularly love when I see a product I know I HAVE to have.

That’s how I felt/feel about Beardowear.

Beardo beard hats are the brainchild of Jeff Phillips, a Canadian-born winter enthusiast who has a passion for snowboarding. Jeff has been chasing perfect powder runs all around the globe and came up with the first make-shift Beardo in Whistler, B.C while at the Blackcomb mountain summit, at 7th heaven. Though this very first prototype was made using an old knit scarf and far from perfect, it has been severely refined (not thanks to Jeff’s horrible knitting skills!) to the innovative and fully patented design that you see today.

I was so excited to be offered the opportunity to review some of their products, and may have stalked the mailman in anxious anticipation. And couldn’t wait to show Brent when he came home from work the day it arrived!

We were sent the Original Beardo Hat to review, and you know Brent wore it ALL night. ALL NIGHT! In fact, when I woke up the next morning I noticed he had slept with it on his bedsie table. oh my.

*please ignore the shotty ipod photography*

Needless to say he loves it – and looks forward to some time on the hill next winter. Though it’s not like he won’t wear it every cold day anyways!

We were also excited to receive two sets of the BearMo Bottle Moustaches which we promptly put on our Dr. Pepper bottles. How fun are these going to be for our summer bbq’s?!

I am in love with these items and am hopeful to add more to our collection {namely, the Houdini Beanie for moi} – and I’m surprised and impressed at how many people I’ve discovered already own some of these products as well. We could start a Beardowear club lol.

Want to be part of the club? Check out Beardowear on Facebook, Twitter, and their Website.

**Disclosure: I was sent the above mentioned items at no cost to facilitate this review. All opinions are, of course, my own.**
