I happened upon a most fabulous blog today and had to share. As you all know, I love to cook and bake – in fact, 90% of my days are spent in the kitchen. I love being able to make dishes or treats that my family loves, and – call me old fashioned, but I LOVE when I have lunch or dinner ready when my husband comes home from work. It just makes me happy (him too…though he’s never bothered when it doesn’t happen).
Sometimes it’s difficult to think of something new, or pretty…for dessert or to take as a party treat, etc. But Christi from LOVE FROM THE OVEN really takes the guesswork out and shares some pretty fantastic recipes! Tried and true (not just posted) with great photos (I love knowing what something is supposed to look like!). Seeing all of her ideas is getting me SO excited to do some holiday baking this year and I am already busy planning. Don’t be surprised if all my ideas come from this blog! LOL
One thing I am planning on doing soon for my daughters (super belated) birthday party are Cake Pops. I’ve seen several blog posts around the web on this trendy new treat – but am excited to see Christi’s version too. Aren’t they so cute – and simple (my kinda thing) – and perfect for my 7 year old’s *Gourmet Spa Princess Birthday Party*. Her and her friends will have an easy and fun time making these….Of course, now I want the Select Brands Babycakes Cake Pop Maker to make the task even more fun!
