Laundry while traveling – Purex 3-in-1

We’ve all been there….no matter how much you overpack there is always a need at least once, to do some laundry. So what do you do? You could buy some, though if you’re at a resort somewhere, it’s likely to be more costly than normal. You could pack some, but if you’re like me you feel like you need to double, maybe triple bag for fear of it breaking open and wreaking havoc with the clothes. Or I suppose, worst case scenario, you could just wash the clothes – sans soap – and hope for the best.

I had seen the commercials for Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets more than a few times, but honestly just rolled my eyes at the commercials. I’m not a big fan of products that mash 2 or 3 things into one (ie, 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner, etc.). I just have a difficult time believing they really do all they are supposed to.

But last May, while on our Disneyland vacation, the friends we were traveling with brought some and were kind enough to share.

My new opinion??? GENIUS!!!!

While I can’t say that the clothes came out smelling like they do at home with *real* detergent…or that it’s something I would use at home in every day life…buut on a holiday I think there is NO other way to go. They are easy to pack, have no risk of leaking, and aren’t overly expensive….and they are easy to use and totally do the trick. I have used them on two holidays now and am planning on taking them on our upcoming one. I am confident there is no other way I’ll do laundry on a trip…ever.

So try them out…they’d be perfect for resort holidays to camping ones! It really is *laundry simplified*
