California Trip – Utah day 2

While our kids wanted to go back to Kangaroo Zoo, we really thought we’d try something else being it was our last day there. We ended up at Trafalga in Lehi. Now I’ll admit to being really tempted to leave when we first arrived….they were in the middle of construction and it was loud and not visually appealing. And with the weather not as warm as they like some of the rides weren’t running. But we decided to make do – and you know, we had a great time. I definitely think it was overpriced (though my son was free…had I not purchased a pack it would have been $6 PER RIDE for my daughter) particularly because it wasn’t complete, but c’est la vie. The kids played in the indoor play place, we rode a few rides outside (airplanes and carousel), and played some games inside (bowling), winning tickets for prizes. The kids also tried a ride called Frog Hopper and I tell you, my daughter was TERRIFIED! I have never seen her so scared – and what’s brutal is it’s not a ride you can just stop…I was surprised she wanted to try it having seen it go a few times, but she did. Never again do I expect to find her on it. I think she was pretty traumatized – though everyone else LOVED it!

Trafalga, as mentioned, is in the middle of construction and has some major changes. I am excited to check it out next time we are in Utah as it sounds like it will be pretty awesome….Arcade games, rides, laser tag, a restaurant, mini golf, and Go-Karts. I know – how fun is that!!!

So check it out if you are ever in the area. There are locations in Lehi and Orem.
