‘Tis the season…

For TREATS!!!

While I’m not personally doing a whole swack of Christmas baking this year (I know, a shame) I thought I’d share some of my favorite recipes…perfect for time with the family, a potluck party item, or to take a plate over to friends and neighbours. And some perfect for warm meals while huddled in from the cold.

First Up:

TOBLERONE FUDGE!

My sister in law was the one who discovered this recipe and am I ever glad she did. She makes it every year and it is TO. DIE. FOR. Nevermind sooo easy, quick, and perfect for something in a pinch (okay, if you happen to have 400g Toblerone bars laying around. lol).

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup evaporated milk

400g Toblerone chocolate bar (large)

Combine 3 ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring the entire time. Take off heat and stir in chocolate bar (I recommend having it pre-broken into individual pieces) until melted. Pour in pan lined with Parchment paper (I use a square pan) and chill for at least 3 hours.

Cut into squares and DIG IN!!!
