As was the trend for our holiday, we stayed in San Francisco for one night. And yes, it was a lot of packing and unpacking…in and out…back and forth…but we enjoyed it and had a blast seeing so many places. We will, however, change things up a bit next time to allow for a bit more downtime (ie – more than one night in each place) – so we could take advantage of features like this: We stayed in the…
While we were trying to keep costs down during this trip, we definitely had to splurge on a few things. Aquarium of the Bay seemed too good to pass up, and we were actually pleasantly surprised at the cost. Just $16.95 for Adults and $8 for children 3-11 – in my experience, places like this tend to be at least double that. So we were thrilled! And it did not disappoint. We had SO much fun and the kids LOVED…
After the Aquarium we took a stroll along Pier 39 to see what else there was. Walking by the Wipeout Bar and Grill we both agreed it was time to eat. And seriously – a surf based restaurant is so our kind of place! The atmosphere was laid back and fun, the staff was friendly, and the food great! The kids – a little crazy! LOL Actually, they were really good and ate really well, though as is typical for…
We headed next to San Francisco where Radelle had a photo shoot set up – you can check out the incredible photos HERE. I took the kids to an amazing tot lot park while she was doing the shoot – and I completely forgot to bring the camera out of the vehicle…..and I can’t find images anywhere on google to show you. It was a fabulous park and the kids had a blast! San Francisco knows how to do parks…
Our first hotel of the trip! We were SO excited to be in Novato/Sonoma and see all the beautiful wineries and vineyards. As I said on my previous post, we HAVE to go back when the grapes are in season. I bet it’s breathtaking! We stayed one night at the Courtyard Novato Marin/Sonoma (that’s a mouthful – it’s a Courtyard Marriot) because my cousin had a wedding to attend nearby. I ordered pizza in for me and the kids and…

You might recall that on my last measurements post I had lot 7 1/4″ from my previous measuring 8 months prior. That was March 8th…and now, April 2 I have taken a new set of measurements to document my progress. I did have some help in the form of the nastiest sickness I have ever had. One that left me flat on my back for almost an entire week…unable to eat anything or really function at all. As a result…

As a result I’ll be extending the Hapari giveaway until next week (more details to come) and there will be additional ways to receive extra entries! Stay tuned!!!!…
