Mexico is the place I have been to the most. There’s something about it I just love….driving to our resort on the shuttle I just felt at home – the air, the heat, the palm trees – and the Spanish. I don’t speak it and can only understand a little bit, but it’s a language I have loved for a long time and dreamed of becoming fluent in (I took it in college). I just love it…
I have been to Cancun before, but never to the Mayan Riviera (about an hour away) so was excited to check it out.
On the shuttle - I was a little overzealous in trying to avoid the *double chin* scenario
Little did we know the paradise that awaited our arrival! It was, in one word, Spectacular. Pure Paradise….Heaven…and thrilled to call it *home* for the week.
Our first order of business (after checking in and ditching our stuff in our rooms, of course) – FOOD! I loved the *All Inclusive* already. 🙂
The variety of food was so fun, and the quality – it was seriously delicious. The staff were so attentive and polite, and the entire resort was kept in immaculate shape. We were giddy with excitement and I’m sure that first night we committed to holiday there again! Fantastic! After our delicious dinner (or snack, because as I recall we went back after our *resort tour* – man I love all inclusive!) we took ourselves on a tour of the resort and enjoyed a wee swim…we just got more and more excited!
I can't lie - we thought of the kids...they would have had fun for sure!
