A few weeks ago I went through a wee spell of *chapped lips*. Not fun at all. It wasn’t actually from not using a lip balm but actually as a result of using one of my favorites {why do the flavour ones always wreak such havoc?}. Wanting to put my Burt’s Bees to the test, I decided to use it exclusively to try and remedy the problem.
I wasn’t hopeful.
I remember as a teenager trying it out {I used to use several of their products and LOVED them} and was sorely disappointed. I felt like it dried out my lips…and even though, now, my sisters in law swear by it, I have never been willing to go back. {This is just one reason I’m grateful for review products}.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Is it really any surprise though? {from the website} This natural lip balm {100%} is loaded with coconut and sunflower oils, rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, to nourish, condition and soften lips. Beeswax seals in hydration. They’ve even added peppermint oil for a refreshing tingle.
My original Burt’s Bees lip balm took care of my chapped lips in just a couple of days, even being out ice fishing most of that time. I am a HUGE fan…a new believer….and will be a loyal Burt’s Bees lip balm customer. My lips LOVED it! {and omyword, they have a grapefruit one!}
My personal wish list is getting longer {hello – they have grapefruit lip balm too…and tinted ones {my sisters in law love}….eeeee}
Disclosure: I was sent a lip balm at no expense, in exchange for a review.
However, as always, ALL opinions and experiences are 100% my own.
