Every year for Halloween I try and think of something the kids can be together. It honestly hasn’t happened yet, but the dream is alive. Well, folks….that is about to change. I already have Brooklyn’s costume as compensation for some previous blog work, so when given the opportunity to review a kids costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes, I knew it was Jonah’s turn AND what I was looking for.
So the shopping began.
With 14 Pirate type costumes, it was no small feat. And considering I was keeping it a secret from Jonah {he LOVES when review items come for him and the surprise is so worth it}, the decision was all my own. #stressful
I ended up choosing the Pirate Captain Child’s Costume and, judging by Jonah’s need to stay in it all day, I’d say I made the right one. He LOVES it, and says it is so comfortable {like jammies}. And he’s pretty excited to be a pirate like Brooklyn – I can’t lie, I am too. I love that although it’s an inexpensive costume {$15.90!!!!!}, the quality doesn’t reflect it. It’s not going to fall apart after wearing it one or two times – thank goodness or we’d be pushing it already. He seriously wore it all day!
Things I don’t like/love about it? The top is a bit short on him, so his tummy sticks out – but that’s easily fixed with a shirt underneath. Certainly not a major complaint. But the bandana is strange and difficult to fit and keep on, so that will take some doctoring come Halloween night.
Overall a huge fan and I am certainly impressed with Wholesale Halloween Costumes!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
