This post has been a log time coming and I am excited to finally be posting it to tell you about a fantastic company for Photography related accessories:
I’ve been eyeing Photojojo for a while now and was thrilled when I was offered a gift certificate towards my purchase. I knew exactly what I wanted to get and anxiously awaiting the items arriving.
When we went on our holiday last year {sans kids} to the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort, the one thing we wish we’d had was an underwater camera. We were in or by the water {pool mainly} the entire time and it wasn’t always convenient to have someone get out of the pool to take a photo. So I knew I wanted to try the Underwater Digi Camera, and since Jonah and I go swimming about once a week I couldn’t wait to try it out.

While it’s certainly not comparable to my Digital SLR, and I am in definite need of some practice shooting with it {you don’t realize how the water movement impacts holding the camera steadily for a clear shot}, I was satisfied with the few photos that did turn out. And I love that I can try it out often to get really steady for any upcoming trips or even just in our backyard pool for the summer. But I really do need to practice 😉
There was also one other item I had been eyeing specifically to gift to my cousin, Radelle {of Eternal Reflections Photography}. Being a photographer it was quite suiting {and photographer using a Canon no less}, but also because she has done so much for me {and us} over the years, even driving 7 hours each way to watch our kids during our vacay last year, and I know she loves a hot cup of tea on a cold wintery day. So this Canon Camera Lens Mug was perfect {I got her the Black 24-105mm, $24}.

Truth is, I’m not a photographer {as is well evidenced by the photos I personally share lol} but now I want one of these mugs for myself. At the very least it’ll make me feel a little cooler.
