AdoraPet Children’s Books

I love to read…and, I love reading to my kids…now especially, I love listening to my daughter read. It’s pure magic. Not to mention how amazing it is to get taken into the land of make believe with every story told- I really believe it’s where dreams first begin. The magic of possibility, don’t you agree?

So when I was offered the opportunity for my kids to review advance copies of the AdoraPet Children’s Books, I couldn’t resist. The only problem – choosing which ones – I knew they would enjoy each of them for different reasons. However, I was finally able to decide on the Firefighters Adventure for Jonah and the Chefs Book for Brooklyn. And let me tell you – they loooove them (though, in truth, were immediately drawn to the other titles pictured on the back of each book exclaiming they wanted each of them too!).

The author and creator of AdoraPet, YiShaun Yang, explains that he wrote this series to nurture children’s dreams and their belief in themselves. Most of the stories in this series are told from the perspective of the reader/child – so they get to experience the adventure *first hand* instead of just reading about someone else’s. I love this and love being able to enter the land of make believe with them.
