I first discovered Jill-e Designs last Fall while doing some computer work {ie google searches, blog reading, online shopping, etc.} and was thrilled when they contacted me in March to do a review. I mean, I do have a fabulous camera bag, but the truth is there are SO many awesome options out there – I want to check them all out.
I quickly fell in love with the Everywhere Gadget Bag in Nougat {$109.99} and immediately transferred my purse contents to try it out.
This is sort of how the inside of mine looks – except I have a Canon Rebel {lol} and my wallet inside….oh and I don’t have a spare lense inside and instead use that spot for my gum. Totally multi-functional 😉
Now you may think I have just used this bag for a week or so to *test it out*, but the truth is I have been using it exclusively for over a month. My previous favorite purse has been shelfed {or is it shelved?} and I don’t really see it coming off any time soon. For me, because I don’t have a point and shoot {I know, it’s terrible}, I love that I can carry my monster Rebel around without having to carry a large bag. It’s easy to tote around, is light, and holds everything I need. And keeps the camera perfectly accessible for those moments I just HAVE to capture.
It was great in a limo last weekend for a friend’s Bachelorette party.
It fit perfectly at our feet and wasn’t in anyone’s way – which when you’re sharing a limo with 7 other girls, proves to be very important.
It was also the perfect camera bag/purse on my fieldtrip today with Brooklyn’s class.
It was light enough to carry around all day {even on our wee hike}, kept the camera super handy, and even carried my water bottle {lens pocket versatility strikes again} and some additional snacks. Plus, the front pockets hold my cell phone, ipod, lip gloss, and hand sanitizer.
{sigh}
