Cook’n Recipe Organizer {Review and Giveaway}

I received the Cook’n Recipe Organier software a few weeks ago and just haven’t had the chance to sit down and check it out…until now. And – I’m pretty much in recipe heaven! It took me a few minutes to figure it out but when I did I was over the moon. You know when you are telling someone something that you are SO excited for that you talk a million miles a minute? That was me trying to tell my husband {and could possibly be exactly how I’m typing right now}. I’m THAT excited!

Would it be pretty accurate to say that most of us have plans to organize our recipes? Make a weekly meal plan and make our grocery trips less confusing and less expensive? I have a recipe book with some recipes in it {do I really want to rewrite all my recipes onto recipe cards??} and a folder with recipes I’ve printed or copied from friends….AND another small container with recipe cards that I just haven’t organized into the recipe book. And when will I do it? Anyone’s guess people. It’s anyone’s guess.

And now I won’t have to! Not the *old fashioned* way at least! The Cook’n Recipe Organizer is completely amazing – let me explain {you may want to sit down for this}.

With this newest version you can search for recipes using the Cook’n recipe internet browser. Once you find a recipe you like, simply clicking *capture* will automatically import the recipe in seconds. You can also purchase and download cookbooks online…or input recipes from your own collection. Yes, inputting them will take a little bit of time {put on a good movie, grab the laptop, and away you go!}.

It doesn’t end there though…..the Cook’n Recipe Organizer helps you plan your meals and grocery trips. How? Click on the recipes you want for the upcoming week, for example. Click List and the grocery list for the recipes will be generated {with item pricing}. THEN, you can go in and click off the items that you already have {so you don’t buy unnecessary duplicates} and head yourself to the grocery store. This software is compatible with your computer and handheld devices making it even more convenient. No more lost grocery lists, or random notes laying around {I can’t be the only one who does that} – just a perfect handheld list with no fuss!

Like I said – I am in LOVE!

AND I GET TO GIVE ONE AWAY!!! *squeal*
