It seems that most of the kid related reviews I do are for the girls, so it’s especially exciting for me when I have the opportunity to get something just for Jonah…for the boys! I mean, I could have chosen something for Brooklyn but I try as best I can to alternate. And because this review involves costumes I had the freedom to choose whatever I wanted.
Jonah loves to dress up – yes it’s usually in his sister’s clothes {truth}, so I knew he would be really excited about this one. The Costume Supercenter has so many to choose from though, it was difficult to narrow down. Trying to find something I knew he would LOVE I scoured the options several times…wanna know what I decided on?
Jonah loves *wee-you’s* {that’s what he calls the police, fire, and ambulance vehicles because of the sound of the siren}, so when I saw their Police Officer Costumes it seemed a perfect fit! Even better – it came before Christmas so I was able to use it as one of his gifts!
Bet you can’t tell if he liked it or not 😉
Yes, he was THRILLED and was so patient in waiting for me to get through all the laundry so it could be washed and ready to wear. I am really happy with the costume – the quality is good, the value for the pieces is good {came with hat, shirt, and pants for $32.99} and it looks absolutely adorable on him. The size 4-6 fits him pretty well though the pants are a bit long…perfect for growing into!
Typically I would only look at sites like Costume Supercenter for Halloween costumes – but now I’m totally sold on *off season* shopping…what a great way to stock up for future holiday dress up parties, and add to your child’s dress up collection.
**Disclosure: I received this costume at no cost from Costume Supercenter
in order to facilitate this review. The opinions are my own.*
