As was the trend for our holiday, we stayed in San Francisco for one night. And yes, it was a lot of packing and unpacking…in and out…back and forth…but we enjoyed it and had a blast seeing so many places. We will, however, change things up a bit next time to allow for a bit more downtime (ie – more than one night in each place) – so we could take advantage of features like this:
We stayed in the Radisson Fisherman’s Wharf – (from the website), overlooking breathtaking San Francisco Bay. Just steps away you’ll find popular San Francisco attractions , including Pier 39, Alcatraz Island, Ghirardelli Square and the world famous San Francisco cable cars.
The location was perfect – especially considering after the boys had their fun jumping it started to POUR! We were soaking wet and trying to get to our hotel as soon as possible. Thank goodness it was so close – though I’m not sure our *wet dog* looks were comparable to the image the hotel tries to keep. haha
We enjoyed this hotel very much. The beds were comfortable – they even brought up cribs for the boys (no, neither of them are still in cribs but it sure made bedtime easier and opened up the beds so we each had more room! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again for sure! My *only* complaints were the parking charges – additional fees just bug me and I don’t have fond feelings about paying for parking somewhere that I’m already paying to be – and the crazy parking lot situation (if you’ve ever stayed here you know what I’m talking about). But c’est la vie – perhaps it’s worth the location. I would definitely go back, so that’s saying something!
