Some changes

I’m making some changes to the blog (okay I’m paying someone to do it for me. lol) so it will likely be down for the next couple of days. As a result I’ll be extending the Hapari giveaway until next week (more details to come) and there will be additional ways to receive extra entries! Stay tuned!!!!…

Laundry while traveling – Purex 3-in-1

We’ve all been there….no matter how much you overpack there is always a need at least once, to do some laundry. So what do you do? You could buy some, though if you’re at a resort somewhere, it’s likely to be more costly than normal. You could pack some, but if you’re like me you feel like you need to double, maybe triple bag for fear of it breaking open and wreaking havoc with the clothes. Or I suppose, worst…

Hapari – Swimwear Giveaway!!!

Anyone who knows me knows I love to shop online – some would say it’s a bit of an addiction 😉 So it shouldn’t be any surprise that with our upcoming vacation, I’ve been scouring the *world wide web* for a new swimsuit to sport on the beach! I’ve looked at several sites, but seem to keep coming back to Hapari. Their site is easy to navigate, has something for everyone (including men), and the swimsuits are so affordable…..and sooooo…

California Trip – Sonoma Train Town

After being mesmerized by the incredible wineries and vineyards we happened upon this lovely little gem. Sonoma Train Town looked like the perfect pit stop for the kids so we had to check it out. California Trip – Sonoma Wineries

Well we left Roseville to make our way to Novato for the night. On our way we saw so many gorgeous wineries and vineyards….absolutely beautiful. We must go back when the grapes are in full season – I can only imagine the vineyards then!!! Not being wine/alcohol drinkers I have decided though that it would be awesome to be able to do a *grape juice tasting tour* – seriously, how fun!! And while we’re there, we wouldn’t mind moving in…

California Trip – Roseville

Our next stop was Roseville! It was another long day of driving, with kids that hardly slept AND another time change. We had just gone through one at home taking us an hour back and now just a couple weeks later were being pushed another hour back. So our lovely children were getting up at 6 AM instead of 8 am like we’re used to and hoping for. It was brutal! Add to that, being a bit overtired and over-travelled…

In my salad bowl…

I love a good salad, filled with a little of everything. I can be satisfied, full, and sustained from a great salad. I have a few salad dressings that I rotate between (most of them homemade) so I don’t ever feel like it’s the *same old* thing (though I can honestly say I’ve never felt that way anyways). I remember a friend growing up commenting to me that her mom never really ventured into new territory when it came to…
